Peshawar is one of the most historical city of south east asia, with a legendary history and culture. You find people of many languages here, ranging from Hindko to Pashto and Persian. You can find many historical buildings in Peshawar, some of which are Balahisar Fort (a huge fort built by Sikhs), Mohhabbat Khan Mosque (a Mughal mosque), Chowk Yadgar (formerly called Hastings Memorial), Islamia College, Edwardes College, Peshawar Museum, Ghor Khatahri, etc.

Today Peshawar has many hotels, so you will not have to worry about staying during visit. You can find hotels ranging from international standard to local hotels, where you can experience the local touch.

Transportion in Peshawar is pretty easy, you can find a taxi any where, or if you want a greater experience you may travel with a rickshaw, which can even take you to the most inner parts of the old city, because taxi's and other cars can not go there because of narrow streets.
